The protection of intellectual property rights encourages entrepreneurialism, supports private sector development, and promotes growth of high-tech ecosystems and high-paying jobs for educated workers. In addition, IP protection is critical to fostering innovation. AmCham and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association are organizing a workshop this Thursday to discuss policy challenges the government needs to address in order to promote the digital economy, ensure information security, national security and data sovereignty.
