Seminar on Global Cybersecurity Trends

Event Details

  • Date:

Halloween is a scary holiday and AmCham members can celebrate by learning about today’s scariest business issue – cybersecurity. In today’s world, network systems underpin many critical systems, and as such, need to be adequately protected against cyber threats. Similarly, the increasing dependence on information and communication systems raises the importance of ensuring public confidence and trust in the security of the underlying infrastructure. Users must know that their data will be properly managed and secured by the best available technologies. It is also important to acknowledge that the benefits of the digital economy can be offset by the cost of cyber-attacks and cybercrime, unless the online environment is adequately protected. A clear need exists for companies to employ a cybersecurity strategy with defenses that are proactive, intelligence driven, and capable of protecting against a broad threat spectrum.

On the afternoon of October 31, AmCham members are invited to a seminar to look at what companies should be doing in response to cybersecurity trends and concerns – both globally and in Vietnam.
