AmCham and the US Embassy, in cooperation with the Vietnam Information Security Association and The Ministry of Information and Communications Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team, are hosting a seminar on The Role of Cyber Security in Creating a Vibrant Digital Economy in Vietnam on the afternoon of November 7. This seminar will discuss the seriousness of the threats to Vietnam and the role that Cloud computing may play in mitigating risk. Best practices, technologies, and processes that can be utilized in Vietnam to protect networks, computers, programs and data from attack, provide privacy and mitigate damage or unauthorized access will be discussed. The legal, regulatory and legislative issues that complicate the industry plus the key issues that government, enterprises and consumers need to focus on will also be discussed. Attendance at this event is free-of-charge for AmCham members and is part of AmCham’s commitment to working with our partners in the Vietnamese government to improve the business climate. Attendees will include prominent US and Vietnamese government officials, industry experts, service suppliers and customers, relevant media, and Vietnamese enterprises.
