Technology Enhanced Learning in Vietnam (TEL Vietnam)
The TEL Vietnam project will improve Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education in Vietnamese schools by integrating project-based learning with technology platforms. The project focuses on improving science and math outcomes by focusing on teachers, while also engaging students and school leaders.
Strengthening the Awareness and Practice of International Labor Standards in Vietnam
The project promotes awareness about international labor rights and Vietnam’s labor code with key actors and other stakeholders in the Bac Ninh industrial zone through monitoring of practice with respect to labor rights in the industrial zone and through a constructive process of dialogue to effectively raise workers’ rights and achieve resolutions on employment disputes.
YSEALI Economic Engagement in ASEAN Regional Workshop
To empower ASEAN youth, Kenan led 80 participants through an exciting, challenging, and inspiring workshop which provided them with core knowledge about the ASEAN Economic Community and its impact on trade and development, as well as enhanced their leadership and soft skills to enable them to create a greater impact in their home communities.
Vietnam Women Improving Lives and Leadership – Vietnam WILL (United States Department of State)
Expanding Kenan’s presence in the region, the Vietnam WILL project was an innovative and integrated approach to build the capacity of Vietnamese civil society organizations and public agencies that serve the needs of women.
Diageo Empowering Interpersonal Skills for Hospitality Workers (Diageo)
The project developed the workplace skills of female hospitality workers by providing them with capacity building trainings that strengthened their teamwork, problem-solving, conflict management, and communication skills.
Microsfot Techsperts (Microsoft)
To improve the employment prospects of vocational school students in Hanoi, the project built the technical capacity of students, enabling them to pursue a successful technology retail career.
Nghi Son Community Health Awareness (Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC)
Completed in 2015, this project improved the health awareness of community members by inducing positive changes in their knowledge, attitude, and practices, regarding such issues as lowering the rates of gastrointestinal illnesses, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and other sexually transmitted infections.
