UNIS Hanoi was the first international school established in Vietnam, and is one of only two United Nations schools in the world. Our mission is to encourage students to be independent, lifelong learners who strive for excellence and become responsible stewards of our global society and natural environment, achieved within a supportive community that values diversity and through a programme reflecting the ideals and principles of the United Nations. UNIS Hanoi offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme from preschool and kindergarten (ages 3 to 5 years old), Primary Years (Grades 1-5), Middle Years (6-10), and the Diploma Programme for the last two years of High School (Grades 11-12). The IB is a rigorous, inquiry-based programme that nurtures curiosity and helps students develop international-mindedness in a truly multicultural environment. UNIS Hanoi is a learning community that celebrates cultural diversity, harnessing the creativity and innovation that comes from bringing over 60 nationalities together. Our purpose-built campus on over nine hectares of land has low-level buildings and outside access to all classrooms. In addition to our Sports Centre, Centre for the Arts, and Library, UNIS has playgrounds, sports fields, all-weather swimming pools and specialist facilities used by all grade levels. The Sustainable Development Goals are embedded in our curriculum and provide a framework for our Service Learning Programme, which is at the heart of our values: Learning, Community, and Responsibility. English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Learning Support programmes are available. Admissions policies ensure cultural diversity (no more than 20% of any one nationality across the student body) and appropriately balance the number of students receiving EAL support with native and proficient speakers to maintain strong language learning within an English instruction context. Admissions policies also give priority to diplomatic passport holders and UN staff, siblings and returning students. UNIS Hanoi welcomes the Hanoi community to our campus through a variety of Community Programmes including Saturday Sports, Community Classes and Workshops, and our Summer Programme.

UPS is a global leader in logistics, offering a broad range of solutions including transporting packages and freight; facilitating international trade, and deploying advanced technology to more efficiently manage the world of business.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, UPS delivers 20 million packages and documents each day to about 9 million customers, in more than 220 countries and territories. Today, UPS employs more than 454,000 people worldwide and operates a fleet of about 119,000 vehicles including more than 9,300 alternative fuel-vehicles and 241 aircrafts.
In Asia Pacific, UPS serves 41 countries and territories with air hubs in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The network is supported by a delivery fleet of 1,883 vehicles, 323 operating facilities and more than 3,900 points of access.
In March 2013, UPS became the first global express delivery company to be
wholly-owned in Vietnam. The change allows UPS to better connect Vietnam’s rapidly expanding economy to world markets through the UPS network. UPS has invested in new facilities and technology in key commercial and industrial centers across Vietnam. It has extended its express pickup and delivery service to 63 provinces in Vietnam and offered
later pick-up and cut-off times. UPS has operations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
In April 2017, UPS Vietnam announced the enhancement of its export services across 19 provinces to support local businesses as they pursue greater cross-border trade. Businesses will benefit from reduced transit times for export and import shipments moving within Asia, and improved shipment times from Europe. In addition, the cut-off times for pick-up have been extended by up to three hours. This service enhancement is part of UPS’s long-term strategy to provide local small-and-medium businesses with greater access to global trade.
In October 2018, UPS introduced UPS My Choice to 13 markets in the Asia Pacific, including Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Customers will now have access to e-mail and text notifications that a delivery is on its way, a day before delivery alert and a delivery notification. In countries and territories where technology allows delivery change options, users can also route packages to another address, opt to hold the delivery or reschedule for delivery on another day.
In March 2019, UPS Vietnam expanded the service coverage of its Worldwide Express Freight service from existing 3 to a total 24 provinces in Vietnam as also the pallet dimensions and weight. Customer across these 24 provinces are now able to export and import urgent, heavy and palletized shipments with expanded dimensions and weight.
