Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families.

Together, we create smiles, changes lives, heal humanity.

GLOBAL MEDICAL CARE: Operation Smile medical volunteers have treated more than 260,000 children worldwide since 1982 and currently has programs in more than 60 countries including Vietnam.

VOLUNTEERISM: Operation Smile has one of the world’s largest volunteer network, utilizing more than 5,000 medical and non medical professionals around the world.

MEDICAL DIPLOMACY: Operation Smile brings together health professionals to improve the quality of life for the children, families and communities that share in the Operation Smile experience. By creating international partnerships, Operation Smile builds trust, bridges cultures and bestows dignity at home and abroad.

GLOBAL STANDARD OF CARE: Operation Smile works with its partner countries to raise medical standards of care to the highest level. Wherever and whenever we are working under the Operation Smile banner, we make this commitment to each and every child’s medical treatment.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: Operation Smile develops sustainable business structures in its partner countries, giving them the ability to finance and deliver medical care independently year-round.

SAFE SURGERY INITITATIVES: Operation Smile is celebrating our 30th Anniversary of operations in Vietnam in this year 2019. Thirty years providing services to Vietnam patients and partnering with medical partners, local hospitals we proudly to initiative the safe surgery initiatives project with Ministry of Health – Vietnam for the purpose of improving and raising standard of health care and other social services in order to extend cares to Vietnamese children and poor patient who cannot
afford to pay for basic health care services, particularly to provide free health care to children with facial deformities.
