AmCham launched a new program for members this year called the “AmCham Leadership Development Academy”. The program was announced by AmCham Chair Natasha Ansell at an event in January with Deputy Prime Minister Hue and will take place throughout 2019 to celebrate 25 years of AmCham’s promotion of a better business climate in Vietnam for all companies and investors.

Over 30 rising stars of AmCham member companies are gathering once per month for learning and networking opportunities. Presentation topics include a mix of themes such as maximizing your communication skills, leading and managing effectively, understanding the linkages between business operations and society, remaining relevant in your profession, becoming more persuasive, globalization and automation, behavioral ethics, running more efficient meetings, and more.

The aim of the Academy is connect, develop and empower participants through modules on career development best practices, peer-to-peer networking, and dialogue with senior executives from industry-leading companies. At AmCham’s annual meeting in December, a Certificate of Completion will be presented to participants who have attended five or more modules.

The next module takes place on September 4 to discuss globalization and automation – the challenge of our lifetime.
