Ha Do, KPMG
Ha Do is a Senior Partner leading the KPMG Hanoi office, KPMG Vietnam and Cambodia. Ha is the National Leader of KPMG’s State-Owned Enterprise (“SOE”) practice, where she is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support the provision of services to, and development of, the SOE sector. She is also the Head of Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare Sector (“IGH”) at KPMG in Vietnam, coordinating advisory, tax and auditing services on projects for refineries, power plants, airports/ports, roads, real estate, smart cities, PPP and healthcare projects.
Ha has 20 years of experience in providing tax and consulting services, advising on investment forms, merger and acquisition, cross border transactions and investment structuring to leading multi-national corporations in Vietnam. She has been advising both investors and EPC contractors on Vietnam’s major refinery projects and has been deeply involved in the first SOE debt restructuring project in Vietnam under a UK scheme of arrangement.
Ha has been elected as Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi Business Association for the period of 2017 – 2021, actively involved in promoting business of Vietnamese private enterprises. She sits in various advisory boards for non-profit organizations and runs SympaMeals with her friends, a charity fund providing free meals to poor patients in the city cancer hospital.
Ha has been a member of the AmCham Hanoi Board of Governors for four years and is active in promoting US – Vietnam trade relations.
