On March 28, over 85 people joined our blood drive to replenish the diminishing supply at Hanoi’s blood bank. Special thanks to Concordia International School Hanoi and the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake for their great support of this effort. The great participation of members at this blood drive is a great reminder that social distancing does not mean social disengagement.
We can all do our part to help in these challenging times. Be patient, use common sense, practice social distancing, maintain good hygiene – and stay at home. Only go out for essentials. Most importantly, be mindful of your actions and take care not to put yourself and others at risk through inappropriate behavior. If you feel sick, stay home and away from people. If you or somebody you know experiences symptoms of the COVID-19 virus: fever, cough, and difficulty breathing, immediately call Vietnam’s health hotline 19003228.
