AmCham Recommendations to Government on Business Climate
On December 12 in Hanoi, AmCham Chair Natasha Ansell delivered remarks to Prime Minister Phuc and senior government leaders outlining key issues for our members. The AmCham Chair said that although President Trump’s visit helped highlight the great opportunities available to American companies here, we often see investments that don’t materialize due to challenges dealing with corruption and an over-complicated, restricted, and unclear licensing and regulatory environment. On behalf of AmCham members, Ms. Ansell spoke about ways to encourage a health and safe environment, the need to build sustainable infrastructure, our hope that laws will be enforced in a fair and equal manner, and other ways to create a more attractive, transparent and stable business environment here.
