On March 1 in Hanoi, AmCham hosted a policy workshop to discuss proposed rules and regulations for foreign investors in Vietnam’s pharmaceutical sector. Officials from the Drug Administration of Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Justice and the National Assembly spoke at the event. The workshop — attended by over 100 business representatives, government officials, and media — focused heavily on concerns regarding the draft circular guiding the implementation of Decree 54/2017/ND-CP. The workshop was a good opportunity for members of the private sector to voice concerns and provide positive suggestions on how to improve this important business sector.
