AmCham is the “Voice of American Business” in Vietnam – led by a dynamic Board of Governors, dedicated Committee Chairs, and a team of professional staff advocating and working on your behalf. AmCham members help formulate positions on issues affecting our members, from trade to tax to industry standards. Through these positions, we advocate to government both in Vietnam and in the United States. We are also affiliated with over 115 world-wide AmChams and more than three million businesses represented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC.

Each weekly edition of the e-Journal contains a limited number of sponsored announcements. These announcements allow people to click-through to whatever document or website URL you wish, and are a cost-effective means of making sure you reach a target audience of high-net worth decision-makers in Vietnam.
By the members for the members. Our Committees are designed for our members to meet in smaller groups to discuss issues of importance with other members in their business or development sector. Committees provide members an exclusive platform to connect with leaders and peers in their sector and share business insights. All AmCham members are invited to participate in our Committees, regardless of business sector. Click below to see the list of our Committees.
AmCham, in collaboration with VCCI and the US Chamber of Commerce, hosts an annual US-Vietnam Business Summit in Hanoi each Fall. Over the past several years, this Summit has served as the premier forum to identify opportunities to expand the bilateral economic relationship. The Summit discusses ways to expand trade and investment and promotes resilient, sustainable growth in Vietnam. This is our highest-profile and most important advocacy event of the year.
Today, the value of being a good corporate citizen goes beyond the pride and satisfaction of providing simple altruistic support for worthy goals. Strong and consistent CSR policies are a cornerstone of the identity of many brands with customer bases that strongly identify with causes championed by businesses, from ethical sourcing to contractor working conditions to carbon footprints and a thousand other issues in between. Our prestigious AmCham Corporate Social Responsibility Awards recognizes outstanding achievements by our members, while the AmCham team also collaborates with our members to administer our own investments in the community.
Decisions that are critical to the global economy, including tax, trade, spending and national security issues, are made every day in Washington by the White House and the Congress. Each summer, the AmChams in the region take a group of members to Washington to meet top US government officials to engage in a dialog on issues affecting US trade and commerce in the Asia-Pacific area. This year’s trip is from July 7-10 and is open for members only.
Each spring, AmCham conducts an extensive Membership and Business Climate Survey. We use the feedback to constantly improve our delivery and provide members with the best possible programs and services. Member feedback about the business climate also gives us important data points to use for outreach and advocacy on key issues throughout the year. Results are shared and compared with AmChams in the region, the US Chamber of Commerce, mass media and others.
