Vietnam’s decarbonization commitments and transition to clean energy present challenges to the government’s nearterm goal of energy reliability. The Department of Climate Change at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and VnEconomy – Vietnam Economic Times are organizing the Green and Clean Energy Towards NetZero Forum on July 10 (new date) focused on “Prospects and Trends of New Energy Development: International experience and effective strategies for Vietnam”.

This Forum will assess (1) new energy trends and prospects for applying new energy sources in the world; (2) potential advantages and development capabilities of new energy sources in conjunction with Vietnam’s needs, strategic orientations, short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals; and (3) solutions and policies to promote the rapid transition of energy, and effective use of new energy sources to serve Vietnam’s green and sustainable economic development goals.
