The United States Ambassador to Vietnam has been working in partnership with the Vietnamese government to mitigate the impact from the coronavirus pandemic. He has accepted facemasks and medical supplies from the Vietnamese people. He has announced millions of dollars in US assistance to help Vietnam’s economic and health response needs. He has coordinated assistance to US citizens in Vietnam impacted by the virus outbreak. And he has consistently expressed his support for a strong, prosperous, and independent Vietnam.
AmCham is pleased to welcome United States Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink to engage members in an open question and answer session on May 20 to discuss the US-Vietnam bilateral relationship, his appreciation for the great CSR work American businesses are doing in Vietnam right now, regional geopolitical issues, and the unprecedented challenges brought by Covid-19.
About the guest speaker:
Daniel J. Kritenbrink was confirmed by the Senate as United States Ambassador to Vietnam in the fall of 2017 and he hosted President Trump here during his first week on the job. He joined the foreign service in 1994 and is originally from the state of Nebraska.
