AmCham, Concordia International School of Hanoi, and the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake are partnering on a blood drive on October 16 with the Vietnamese National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion because blood supplies are running very low in Vietnam right now.

This blood drive is conducted with the highest standards for safety and cleanliness. There is no danger of contracting illness from donating blood. A new, sterile collection set is used for each donor.

Giving blood is a simple thing to do, but it can make a big difference in the lives of others. It feels great to donate and it only takes 30 minutes! And, it’s something you can spare as most people have plenty of blood to spare yet there is still not enough blood around when people need it.

You will be someone’s hero – in fact, you could help save more than one life with just one donation. Plus, you’ll get free snacks and drinks! Click HERE for further information on who can donate and some tips about donating blood.

Join us and donate blood on Sunday, November 13. You can donate from 2:00pm-5:30pm. Registration in advance is required by clicking on the button above. A government-issued photo ID is required to donate blood.

A reminder that if you are feeling sick, do not come to this activity or any other activities – stay at home! We ask that you stay smart to protect your health, keep your spirits up, and do your best to take care of yourself and those around you.
