Cyber Security Risks: The Need for Robust Digital Identity

Digital identity is a new form of authentication designed for the modern web. It is a security tool that protects enterprise assets and secures personal information against online fraud or theft. Beyond security, digital identity is an important part of business strategy to integrate business offerings, service providers and social media personas. It provides a powerful platform to drive innovative and personalized consumer experiences. Digital transformation technologies such as Application Program Interfaces (APIs) also play a critical role in creating and enhancing customer journeys and business possibilities.

To establish a safe ecosystem where Open APIs can push the traditional business boundaries, a strong foundation for digital identity needs to be in place to provide security, openness and flexibility. Join AmCham on May 21 for a discussion with Deloitte’s cybersecurity professionals to help you discover the strategic value of digital identity.
