AmCham members have invested billions of dollars here, integrating Vietnam into the global supply chain, creating quality jobs, and helping the country become more productive, efficient, safe and cleaner. While we remain optimistic about business prospects in Vietnam, many investors are concerned with recent policy and regulatory changes that are not consistent with international best practices. AmCham believes that investors should enjoy a statutory and regulatory environment that provides transparency, predictability, stability, accountability, and due process. Unfortunately, that is not always the case and recent changes have exposed many foreign investors to considerable risks and obstacles in executing their investments.
In this context, AmCham Hanoi and Vietnam’s Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE) are organizing a workshop on March 1 regarding recent policies in the pharmaceutical industry in general, and a draft circular guiding the implementation of Decree 54/2017/ND-CP in particular.
This workshop offers an opportunity for AmCham members to exchange views with representatives from relevant authorities on the impacts of the draft circular on the industry and the business environment in Vietnam, as well as recommendations for revisions.
EVENT: Workshop on the Implementation of Decree 54
DATE: Thursday, March 1
PLACE: InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, 5 Tu Hoa, Hanoi
