Over the last 12 years of operations in Vietnam, Lazada has continuously explored avenues to uplift for the local community through various impactful initiatives, focusing on empowering local SMEs to transform their businesses and thrive; developing future talent for the digital commerce sector, and managing our impact on the environment.
Some notable initiatives implemented in 2023 include Lazada’s ECommerce Education Program, where we collaborate with top-tier universities in the country, intending to empower 100,000 students with hands-on eCommerce knowledge and skills; the introduction of a sustainable packaging handbook for digital sellers in February 2023, which provides practical guidance for business owners to pack their orders in an environmentally-friendly way that is also cost-optimized, and others.
