IBM operated in Vietnam from 1938 to 1975 before returning in 1993. The IBM Vietnam Company Limited was established in 1996, and became one of the first 100% foreign-invested companies in Vietnam.
In Vietnam, IBM has actively aligned both business and corporate citizenship activities to the national Industry 4.0 agenda. The company is committed to support Vietnam’s technology advancement by collaborating with Government and local institutions to offer Cloud, AI, Robotics and Data Science education to students in long-haul strategic partnerships.
